Albasia plywood, BB/CC, 2440x1220x12mm

Albasia plywood is a plywood made from Albasia veneers, a tropical tree species native to Southeast Asia. Albasia plywood is a popular construction material due to its low density, ease of processing, and attractive appearance.

Albasia wood is also known as Albizia or Albizia falcataria. It is a softwood with a pinkish hue, lighter than most softwood species (poplar, linden, pine). It is preferred in construction due to its excellent properties.

Albasia plywood offers a number of important advantages:

• Low weight - average density of approximately 350 kg/m³, easy to transport and handle;
• Sustainability - produced from wood sourced from certified plantations, according to responsible forest management standards;
• The number of layers depends on the thickness, veneers are glued perpendicularly;
• Meets formaldehyde emission requirements, class E1;
• Interior bonding type MR;
• Face quality: B/BB for 4 mm thickness and BB/CC for the other thicknesses;
• Faces are sanded with grit over 100.

Quality grades

BB - high quality, sanded; allows a maximum of 4 patches/m² and small healthy knots, 3-6 mm in diameter.

CC - standard quality, sanded; allows color variations, large healthy knots (3-7 cm diameter), multiple patches, and larger filled defects than BB grade.
