Bilka 140 g/m² anti-condensation membrane is a diffusion membrane under the roof covering, used as an additional protective layer against dust and moisture penetrating beneath the roofing, for single-ventilated roofs.
It is a three-layer membrane, white/red in color (between two polypropylene layers, a vapor-permeable membrane but waterproof). Since the Bilka 140 g membrane is vapor-permeable, it can be installed directly on insulation; no ventilation channel is required between the membrane and the insulation.
The membrane is installed parallel to the eaves line, with an overlap marked on the roll edge by a colored stripe (min. 10 cm). It should be installed according to water flow direction and can be extended over the roof ridge. This diffusion membrane withstands normal thermal loads (with proper ventilation max: +70⁰C), and installation temperature must be between –20⁰C and +40⁰C.
