Okoume plywood is a semi-finished wood material in sheet form, produced by pressing and gluing multiple layers of veneer. The combination of strength, low weight, and uniformity makes it extremely versatile for a wide range of applications.

Okoume wood comes from the species AUCOUMEA KLAINEANA and is also known under names such as Angouma, Gaboon, N'Koumi, Zonga, or Samana. It is sourced from limited areas in Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, and Congo. Okoume plywood is recognized for its reddish-brown or pale red hues and a specific weight of approximately 500 kg/m³, making it easy to handle.

Due to its characteristics, Okoume plywood is ideal for boat building and furniture exposed to humidity changes, but it can also be used in other projects such as pergolas, exterior doors, or building cladding, both indoors and outdoors. It is essential that edges and surfaces are properly sealed for maximum durability.
